Landscapes are not the only target of insects. Haines does interior, exterior and structural pest control to help protect buildings and other structures from carpenter ants, termites and powder post beetles; as well as nuisance pests such as rodents, wasps, hornets, spiders, flies, fleas, ticks and pavement or sugar ants.
Services we offer for residential and commercial customers:
- Exterior Spider Control: Usually done twice per year, in spring and fall as a maintenance program, may require multiple treatments to gain initial control.
- Preventative Perimeter: Four, sometimes five times per year as season and weather warrants for ants, sow bugs, ground spiders, etc. Usually at 40-60 day intervals from spring through fall.
- Monthly Maintenance Perimeter: For extreme problems only! Up to 8 treatments, particularly for carpenter ants.
- Fly Control: Generally done as needed through spring, summer and fall.
- Asian Lady Bug Beetles (not native): Usually noticed in the spring when they awaken and swarm a home, these can best be treated in the fall as a preventative measure when they nest in preparation to over winter.
- Rodent Control: Baiting and trapping programs available.
In keeping with Integrated Pest Management (IPM), throughout our Pest Control operations, we work hard to educate our customers about harborage (eliminating any conditions that attract pests), food supply, and look for ways to "exclude" pests without treatment. In addition, we use as little product as possible to achieve control.
